Holly
The 1895 summer home previously on this site had seen better days. Without proper foundation and sliding down the hillside – sideways, it had definitely long lost its charm. Julie Glavin Design along with Architect Phillip O. Perkins designed a new ground up home as retreat for Julie’s active family, conceiving a lovely, transitional Mediterranean. Capturing its water views, it has all of the contemporary amenities for for easy flow for large groups of guests in their own special spaces and youth alike.

A design maximized on its narrow site, that lets the house be classical while embracing a contemporary way of life and is framed by art and decoration. It’s at once quietly elegant and playfully eccentric. Light filled spaces envelope a soothing palette of whites, creams, pale blue, and persimmon; textured with, linens, plaster, and limestone.
A perfect home for living joyfully.
